How can I become part of Terra Vecchia?

To become be part of next years cycle, whether as an artist in resident, a facilitator or just to visit, simply drop us a line! If you let us know a bit about yourself (age, profession, place of residence) we’ll be able to tell you what the next steps are. We’re excited to have you on board!

How can I support the project?

As a person there’s a few things you can do to help us out. First of all, follow us on social media and help us spread the word! Also, any comments, feedback and thoughts will help us to improve the project further.

As an institution (such as a foundation or an NGO) we would of course be very grateful if you would consider funding the Kulturdorf. The project relies entirely on public and foundations funding. Also, we are always happy to cooperate with other organisations. If either would be an option, please get in touch!

Who is responsible for the project?

The Kulturdorf für Junge is embedded and hosted by the Fondazione Terra Vecchia Villaggio. It was initiated, and is led by Barbara Balba Weber, a lecturer of cultural mediation at the HKB (Bern University of Arts), who is supported by a diverse and inter-professional team composed of both local residents and members from other parts of the world.

How is the project funded?

Terra Vecchia Kulturdorf is primarily funded by Swiss governmental public funds and by private foundations. We rely on our grateful donors to bring all these creative minds together each year. And every bit matters. So, a big thank you to our supporters!

Can I write/report about Terra Vecchia as a journalist?

Of course! We’d love to welcome you in Terra Vecchia and answer any questions you might have. We’re also happy to provide you with any photo or video material you might need. Just get in touch below and we’ll get back to you!

Who is responsible for the website?

The website was made and is administered by Jasper Luithlen, an independent webdesigner, film maker and creative producer from Brussels. He was part of the project in 2021 and will return next year. Any questions? Get in touch below!
